Dividing Lines | Líneas Divisorias

“They say blood is thicker than water.
I say, love is thicker than blood.”

In this daring biographical photo-essay Beatriz invites us to meditate on how we want our lives to end—and how that question of dying leads us back to the question of how we want to live. From first memories to a final breath, Dividing Lines places individual choice in the context of the history of a continent, moving from personal to political—to spiritual. Raw, honest, and daring, this conversation never shies away from difficult questions and refuses to offer easy answers.
We can talk about dying.
