Memoria

Memory lingers underneath our skin, in our organs, cells and all the crevices of the body. “memoria” is an interpretation of the sensations of surrendering and trusting the unknown. In times of political turmoil in Venezuela, “memoria” is a tribute to the beauty of a nation that is forgotten during times of conflict. Songs excerpts from Simon Diaz, one of Venezuela’s patrons of Folkloric music from the plains & Jackeline Rago, a contemporary Venezuelan multi-instrumentalist interpreting traditional songs about the plains of Venezuela.
